Associate Student Success AdvisorSubi Xu | Hi, my name is Subi! I am both a FIC and SFU alumna! I graduated with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Counseling & Human Development. After transferring to SFU, I volunteered as a Guidance Advisor at FIC, where I had the opportunity to support FIC students in their academic journey. I love playing tennis, practicing yoga and exploring restaurants in Vancouver. I’m also a big fan of spicy food! I’m passionate about helping students navigate their transition from FIC to SFU and ensuring they feel supported every step of the way. You can find me at the Welcome Desk at FIC, where I’m here to support you! I look forward to meeting you, so feel free to stop by for a chat! |
Student Success AdvisorBeng Ng | Hello everyone, name is Beng! Originally from Malaysia, I completed my journey to SFU through FIC as well, and I’m thrilled to return to support you on your own path to SFU. During my time at FIC, I was also heavily involved with our Orientation program. While outside of work, I’m passionate about music. So if you see me around, please don’t hesitate to say hi and share your favorite artists with me! |

I love the nature of the west coast, camping and hiking! I also really enjoy traveling and have worked and lived in different countries around the world.. Working with international students is very meaningful for me as I believe in the importance of travel, education and building intercultural relationships to work towards positive global citizenship.
