Presented by Sci-Space & International Services for Students The Global Café is coming to Sci-Space! Come enjoy snacks while connecting with peers and exploring topics related to the international student experience. All students, domestic and international, are welcome. How can we adapt to a new life in a new country or city? What are some challenges we may come across? What are resources and supports we can draw on? We’ll be discussing these questions, sharing insights and experiences with each other, and more.

Session Notes & Info:

  • The session is free and open to all SFU and FIC students. Graduate and undergraduate students are welcome!
  • There will be questions to discuss in small table groups and then together as a full group, followed by a chance to socialize.
  • Drop ins are welcome, but we encourage you to RSVP here to help us with planning!
  • This event is brought to you by Sci-Space and the Global Student Centre (GSC). The GSC lounge, located at AQ 2013, is operated by the International Services for Students, and it is a campus space for creating intercultural connections and sharing international student experiences.
