Instructor Liam invites you to a special screening of Hidden Figures (2016) – an inspiring true story of the brilliant Black women mathematicians and scientists at NASA who helped launch the first American astronauts into space. Starring Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer, and Janelle Monáe, this award-winning film is a must-watch!

To celebrate Black History Month, there will be a showing of Hidden Figures (2016) (2h 7m) Tuesday, February 25th at 1:30pm in room 2360. Based on Margot Lee Shetterly’s book of the same title, this film documents the hidden, previously untold history of the Black women who worked as mathematicians and scientists at NASA during the space race. The film stars Taraji P. Henson, Octavia Spencer, and Janelle Monáe, and has a CinemaScore rating of A+.

Anyone is welcome to attend, no registration is necessary. Pizza will be served. If you are on campus or if you can otherwise make it to campus, pop by and watch. Hope to see you there.
