SAAM @ Sci-Space Movie Screening: The Devil Wears Prada
In honour of Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) this January, SFU Sci-Space will be hosting a movie screening of the popular film, The Devil Wears Prada (2006). What does an inclusive, equitable, and healthy workplace look like? How to foster a work culture free from harassment and abuse? You will reflect on these questions as watching the legendary Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep) and Andy Sachs (Anne Hathaway) in this timeless movie!
Doors open at 4:00 PM and movie will start at 4:15 PM. Folks can stay and join the post-movie discussion at ~6:00 PM where everyone will discuss the movie and the topic of equitable workplaces.
This event is part of the Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM), a month-long series of engagement opportunities hosted by the Sexual Violence Support & Prevention Office (SVSPO) in collaboration with SFU and FIC partners every January. This year’s theme is on “Empowering Equitable Workspaces”. Check out other SAAM events here.
