Lights at Lafarge is Metro Vancouver’s largest free outdoor winter lights display. Take a magical walk around Lafarge Lake and enjoy the 1.2-km pathway that includes more lights, re-imagined elements that highlight flora, fauna and fairytales.

What: Every year, the tree-lined 1.2km pathway around Lafarge Lake is transformed into a multi-hued, light-speckled promenade, inviting leisurely strolls with festive-minded locals and visitors (who often arrive via the nearby SkyTrain line station). Explore the different themed areas among the shimmering displays and plan your visits for the various special evenings (in previous years, that has including caroling, craft workshops and free hot chocolate nights). 

When: November 24 to the end of the holidays
